Custom event signage shines at 2021 World Surf League

With custom event signage you can promote and run an event on your own terms.

So, when the World Surf League hit Newcastle shores in April, they were looking for a team who could deliver quick, tailored, and impressive printing solutions to promote their event and sponsors.

And luckily, we fit the bill.

With a shift in schedule, meaning new locations, a quick turnaround was key. We were enlisted to provide signage and installation at the Rip Curl Newcastle Cup (April 1-11) event and the Rip Curl Narrabeen Classic (April 16-26).

Keeping sponsors and organisers happy every step of the way

With any successful event, we understand that sponsors play a key role. The World Surf League had a variety of major sponsors. It was our job to ensure these brands left a lasting impression on the thousands of spectators who attended.

Our goal here, and with any sponsored event, is to think outside the box. We take the saying: “out of sight, out of mind,” and flip it on its head to drive our unique approach to signage.  

Producing custom event signage to fit the brief

Our Director, Rodney James said working one-on-one and having strong communication was imperative to meeting the client’s brief.

“The client’s brief was to design and produce custom event signage on the go. Due to the client’s unfamiliarity with the venue,we worked day-to-day to arrange suitable signage to meet the different size requirements – which we helped the client to determine on site Rodney said.

“Being a local business who understands the area and knows what type of signage is best for these events, we were able to communicate our recommendations and provide the best solutions to get the job done.”

  • Laminated alupanel signs
  • Stickers for jet-skis, microphone stands and texwalk COVID-19 stickers.

In addition to producing the signage, we also provided on-site installation. We installed the product professionally and made sure the finished result was exactly right in time for the event.
