As a proud business within Lake Macquarie, our team has close connections with the people, fellow businesses, and community organisations that work within our region. After all, most of us live in the area ourselves!
As part of our company ethos, we believe it’s important to give back to those in need. A strong community support focus has always been imperative to our business approach, and we’re proud of who we’ve been able to support and how we’ve given back over the years.
Since 2007, we’ve provided signage for various charities and local events. Some of these include Newcastle Surfest, the Mattara Festival, and Newcastle Racecourse.
We have also been the proud sponsors of local ice-hockey team and champions, Newcastle Northstars. In fact, 2020 will mark our seventh year of working with the team as a Gold Sponsor.
Making close connections with people in our community is important to us. For the last nine years, we have designed and supplied all the props and stage backdrops for the annual Spotlight concert and Spring Fair for Eleebana Public School. The life size posters of the cast are then sold to the children and the money raised is given to a worthy charity of the children’s choice.
Since 2014 we have also sponsored the Variety Children’s Christmas Party. Our team has also proudly donated Christmas signage to the John Hunter Children’s Hospital. It was great to be able to provide some Christmas cheer to decorate the wards during the festive period.
Insane Signs and Print is always keen to partner with local businesses and causes that align with who we are and what our team values, providing benefits and support to our local communities.

After an unusual and difficult 2020 season due to COVID-19 restrictions, local hockey team Newcastle Northstars is back in the rink fighting for their chance at the 2021 McCormack Cup.
The 18-game tournament, which is held in conjunction with Mick McCormack and the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL), will run from now until August 2021.
The McCormack Cup was announced by the AIHL earlier this year as a modified competition, with the decision made in response to border restrictions and COVID-19 parameters.
Supporting them to get the sport back up and running after a tumultuous 2020 season is Insane Signs and Print, once again coming on board as a Gold Sponsor in 2021.
